Fifth Grade

Fifth grade is an exciting year with many new goals and learning opportunities! In reading, we focus on understanding different texts, analyzing characters and themes, and improving our fluency. In writing, students express their ideas through various genres, including narratives, opinion pieces, and informative texts, while also focusing on organization and grammar. Math involves hands-on activities and real-world problem-solving, helping us master concepts like fractions, decimals, and geometry. We encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and develop critical thinking skills. Our classrooms provide a supportive environment where academic growth and emotional well-being are both important. Go Eagles!
