First Grade

Our 1st grade team continues to learn and grow - just like the precious children we teach. First grade is a time of great educational progress and personal discovery. We know we're fortunate to get to experience - over and over - the wonders that come with learning to read. We believe in a child-centered teaching philosophy and we're fortunate our colleagues and administrators feel the same way. We know our jobs are to ignite a desire to learn and grow in every student, all while supporting learning at each student's individual level. Malcom Bridge Elementary is a special place and we know how lucky we are to be a part of it.
