Third Grade

Third grade is full of new goals and learning experiences. In reading, teachers are guiding children while they continue to grow in their ability to learn to read while increasing their fluency and comprehension. In writing, children are able to express themselves through various genres. Math is filled with hands-on learning and problem solving strategies to prepare them for the real world. We strive to present opportunities for students to grow in their sense of responsibility and to take ownership of their learning. All of these subject areas are presented to our Eagles in learning environments where students are nurtured, both academically and emotionally.
