Mr. Eric Watson- Principal

Eric Watson is the Principal of Malcom Bridge Elementary School after serving for 3 years as Assistant Principal. Before coming to MBES, he taught at Oconee County High School after spending 4 years at Evans High School and 7 at Lee County High School. At each high school, he taught all of the Social Studies disciplines, coached football, track, and baseball, and served as a club sponsor. 

Mr. Watson grew up in Ellaville, GA, and was a part of the first graduating class at Schley County High School in 2004. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2008 and began teaching the same year. During his teaching career, he served in many roles, including MTSS Lead Teacher and Sweep Team Coordinator.

Mr. Watson is married to Dr. Jessica Watson. They have 2 children, Claire and William.

Mrs. Stacy Peters- Assistant Principal

Stacy Peters is the Assistant Principal at Malcom Bridge Elementary. Prior to working in administration, Mrs. Peters was a 4th grade teacher at Malcom Bridge. As a teacher, she was fortunate to lead new teachers to MBES and work with district leaders to develop and adapt district assessments, pacing, and curriculum guides. Mrs. Peters also has experience teaching second grade. 

Mrs. Peters has advanced degrees in Teacher Leadership and Elementary Education. She also holds her Leadership Add-on and multiple educational endorsements. 

Mrs. Peters and her husband have two children, Luke and Allie. She and her family are very excited to continue serving the MBES community!
